who can apply for an EduKite trial ? If you are a staff member of a school, then you are able to apply for an EduKite trial. To ensure that your trial is effective we ask that the trial be spread across two classes. applicant submissions We take a personal interest in every school that trials EduKite. We make contact with you by email before we create the account or take any further action. privacy is always important EduKite functions perfectly well using only first names if so desired and it is YOU who determines who has access to the system. EduKite is restricted to the immediate school community: parents, students and staff. (see our privacy statement) member resources While you are trialling EduKite, you will have access to the member sections here at EduKite.com. Once you receive your user name and password, enter these into the header on the homepage, then go to the member section and view the training resources - these will take you through the set-up process. the Kite-Master At each school, one person volunteers to be our contact person – we call this person the . The Kite-Master oversees the trial and helps colleagues start using the system. Your Kite-Master can be any member of staff. EduKite corresponds directly with the Kite-Master via email and provides skype-based help when requested. EduKite Folio Plus has features such as reflection sheets and special task management that require a slightly higher level of understanding than Portal Plus. When you choose this option, the Kite-Master should be prepared to develop a fuller understanding of EduKite in order to take colleagues up to the next level. assessing the trial : At the half-way point and at the conclusion of the trial, we ask the Kite-Master, staff and interested parents to complete an online assessment form. In doing so we are able to build a better understanding of all the issues at hand. You are under no obligation to continue to use EduKite at the conclusion of the trial. |
